1. Once upon a time there lived a fairy. Everytime when a mother gives birth, the fairy appears and gives the baby a bag full of seeds.
2. The seeds represent the good dreams and good work of the baby. Every baby has the seed bag so that they can dream and do good things.
3. There are many dreams that the children wish to do. Some have the dream to become a teacher that gives good lessons to the others, some have the dream to become a doctor that cure people from diseases, some have the dream of becoming a farmer to produce food for mankind. The parents bury the seed in the soil and wait for the seed to sprout.
4. The trees from the seeds would grow up if the children try to make their dreams come true or do good things. But if any child that don’t pay any attention to their dream or do bad thing, the seed would stay in the soil forever without turning into a tree.
5. The children still live with their dreams without knowing that there is a witch living in the peak of a high mountain. Her place covered with snow and it’s cold all the year round.
6. The witch is living alone and there is nothing around her but ice and snow. The witch feels very bored. “Life is so boring here. I need to have some trees from human. Yes, I will take their seeds of dream because only the tree of dream can grow here”
7. The witch comes to every family to persuade them to sell her their seeds of dream. She says: “Why should you keep these seeds? What are dreams for? For sure your children will become farmers or follow their parents’ job, so why do you need to dream?”
8. The witch continues: “Give me the seeds and you have my money back, then you can do a lot of thing.” Many people find her idea to be pertinent and they give the seeds away without hesitation, espencial the poor people who in need for money.
9. The witch takes the seeds to her mountain and buries them in the snow. She uses her magic to blow into the trees or the seeds so that every tree of dream grow up become black and poisonous. Whoever sold her the tree now has bad dreams of becoming bad people.
10. The seeds which can not sprout and can not turn out to be a tree are kept in a bags and hung in the witch’s kitchen. Without the soil, these seeds then can not sprout anymore and the children’s dreams are gone away.
11. In one village there is a girl lives with her grandfather. They have a very big garden in which they plant a lot of tree. They also work very hard so they have plenty of food.(36)
12. They don’t just keep the food themselves, but always willing to share with the others, especially the poor. The girl’s dream is to do so many good work and she tries to do it everyday, everytime she can.
13. Their kindness are far spreaded and many poor people come to ask them for help. The girl and her grandfather often give them some food if they are in hunger, or water if they are thirsty, or the girl would sing a song to make them feel better.
14. The poor appreciate them a lot, and to show their appreciation, they give the girl back their bags of dreaming seed, because they are the most valuable thing they have and they have more thing to take care about, not just their dream.
15. With every bag of dreaming seeds, the girl buries the seeds in the garden and waters them everyday, wishing that the seeds would turn out to be trees and grow up.
16. The girl is so happy if she can see the seeds sprout and grow up. It shows that there are someone have just done good things or have just achieved something with their dreams.
17. Now we turn back to the witch. She now has a lot of dreaming seeds and poisonous trees. “I have many dreaming trees of many people. Now all of them is bad like me. Soon they will become my slaves and soon I will reign the world”.
What would the witch do? Will she destroy the garden of the girl? What will happen to the people that sold the witch their bag of dreaming seeds?
